Objective of the Creative Commons Malaysia Competition
The objective of the Creative Commons Malaysia Competition is to encourage the use of creative materials available on the Internet under a Creative Commons license to produce new and original creative works or produce works entirely and independently on your own. These new works will be licensed under Creative Commons to contribute more content to the common pool of creative resources that are available to the general public to use. The winners of the competition will be awarded cash prizes, interviewed and featured on the Creative Commons Malaysia webportal and have their work showcased at the Creative Commons Malaysia First Anniversary celebration in July 2007. The competition is an opportunity for you to explore your creative talents and showcase your work to the rest of the world and the project team of Creative Commons Malaysia hopes to encourage you to explore all the tools and possibilities available for content creators through the Creative Commons project.
